17th March 2020 ~ A package for immediate support to businesses during the crisis with a total stop or a 40% loss of revenues. Measures have been in effect since yesterday. 18th March 2020 ~The government launches a credit line for companies affected by the crisis.

18th March 2020 ~ Companies will have a moratorium, granted by the bank, in the payment of capital and interest, according to what was announced today by the Minister of Finance.

 Social Security announces 

18th March 2020 ~ Workers who need to be absent from work for urgent assistance to children under 12 or dependents, resulting from the closure of an educational establishment, support for early childhood or disability, are entitled to exceptional support for the family.
To access this support, you must submit a statement to your employer, which is responsible for applying for support from Social Security.
Information will soon be made available on the procedures to be followed by employers to request exceptional support from families.
In order to expedite the application to be submitted to Direct Social Security, employers must now collect the statements of the respective workers.

Covid-19: Sam Harris talks with Amesh Adalja MD

Amesh Adalja, MD, is an infectious disease specialist at the Johns Hopkins University Center for Health Security. His work is focused on emerging infectious disease, pandemic preparedness, and biosecurity. Amesh has served on US government panels tasked with developing guidelines for the treatment of plague, botulism, and anthrax. He is an Associate Editor of the journal Health Security, co-editor of the volume Global Catastrophic Biological Risks, and a contributing author for the Handbook of Bioterrorism and Disaster Medicine. Amesh actively practices infectious disease, critical care, and emergency medicine in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area.
